Ryanne Molinari

Ryanne Molinari graduated summa cum laude from Biola University in 2019 with a B.M. in piano performance and a minor in organ. In 2018, Ryanne was named Biola Conservatory’s“Presser Undergraduate Music Scholar,” one of the highest honors awarded by American music programs.

At Biola, Ryanne also studied literature in the Torrey Honors College and was appointed to “The Order of Peter and Paul” in recognition of her academic achievements. Passionate about interdisciplinary studies, Ryanne earned her Master of Letters in “Theology and the Arts” from the University of St Andrews, Scotland. Her thesis considered musical practice asa mode of spiritual formation.

Ryanne began collaborating with Chorale Midwest in 2021, when she and her husband, Billy, moved to Cedar Rapids from Gilbert, Arizona.

Ryanne also accompanies the choirs at Linn-Mar High school and is the traditional music director for Bethany Lutheran Church. She is also an active member of Prairie Bible Church, where her husband serves as Lead Pastor. Ryanne and Billy are both in the final stages of earning their Doctor of Ministry degrees from Covenant Theological Seminary.

In addition to her work as a musician, Ryanne is a prolific writer. Her first book, Spirit-Filled Singing: Bearing Fruit as We Worship Together, was released on November 4th , 2025, and is available to order from Amazon.com, Crossway.org, or any other major online retailer. The book encourages music-lovers to discover the heart behind their singing, and to participate in congregational worship with deepened understanding and renewed purpose.

Ryanne’s writing has been published by journals including The Gospel Coalition, Christianity Today’s Ekstasis, the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology’s "The Big Picture," and The Journal of the T.S. Eliot Society (UK). She enjoys dabbling in various genres, ranging from academic papers to personal essays to short stories to sonnets.
